Stickheads MVP
Stickheads is looking for MVPs!! 
(Most Valuable Players and Most Valuable Parents)
Nominate your favourite hockey playing kid to be a Stickheads MVP!
Stickheads believes that getting your head in the game of hockey means more than just scoring goals. It also means doing your best, giving your all and not giving up. That’s why we’re looking for those special boys and girls between ages 5 and 13 years of age who may not have scored the most goals on their team, but have shown outstanding team spirit, a willingness to help others both on and off the ice, the dedication and heart to go after their dreams and try their best at school and in life.
If you know of a boy or girl who fits this description, email us today telling us why you think they deserve to be a Stickheads MVP. In December and March we'll choose six players (3 girls and 3 boys) as Stickheads MVPs and post their picture and why they won on our MVP page. Each MVP will immediately receive:
- a special Stickheads MVP hockey stick hat (only those children who win MVP can get this hat!),
- MVP apparel, and
- a $50 gift certificate from Source for Sports.

Kids and coaches, it’s your turn!
Nominate a dedicated hockey parent to be a
Stickheads MVParent!
Everyone's heard about (and some of use know) the hockey parents who make coaches, spectators and players lives miserable at practices and games. Stickheads wants to hear about those parents who praise, support and encourage good sportsmanship and bring out the FUN in hockey! Players, coaches, friends and families – do you know of an amazing mom or dad who shines the light on their young stars, always has an encouraging word when games don’t end up as the team hoped, and understands that being the fastest or toughest player doesn’t necessarily make you the best player?
We’d love to hear what makes these parents special, especially from the kids and coaches who know them. We'll post the nominations on Stickheads Facebook page and in March we’ll chose two parents to be our MVParents. They'll win:
- a MVParent hoody,
- a $100 gift certificate from Source for Sports, and
- Stickheads hockey stick hats for every player on their child’s team.
Please email us the parent’s name, email address, phone number, reason they should be a Stickheads MVParent and a photo of them (optional) to info@stickheads.ca. Winners of the award will be notified by email and phone and their picture will be posted on the website and Facebook.
